Through the first six months of 2013 REAG, LLC has completed four transactions in the lower middle market with a total aggregate enterprise value of approximately $8M. The average enterprise value per transaction completed was approximately $2M.
Total revenues of the acquired companies were just over $22M with average annual revenues per company in excess of $5.5M.
Of the four transactions completed, three were initiated by the acquirer hiring REAG as a finder to locate acquisition targets on its behalf. One transaction was completed with the seller hiring REAG to locate a buyer for its business.
75% of the deals completed year-to-date by REAG were in the manufacturing sector and began with an acquisition search initiated by a buy-side client.
