After building a successful business for more than 30 years, the owner of Kadee Industries decided to retire. REAG was tasked with identifying a buyer that would continue growing the business while maintaining the existing workforce.

REAG began refining a list of potential strategic, individual, and private equity acquirers. Once non-disclosure agreements were signed, REAG delivered a confidential information memorandum (CIM) detailing the company’s historical financials, current operations, and growth potential. Upon reviewing the CIM, multiple letters of intent (LOI) were submitted. REAG then compared and contrasted the LOIs to help the client choose a buyer with a reputation for exceptional quality and a proven industry buyer with a history of closing deals and successfully integrating new businesses into the company.

Kadee Industries was sold to Ohio Gratings, Inc. (OGI), a privately held business located in Canton, Ohio.

“Every part of the 8-month process to sell my business was purposely motivated, diligent, detail oriented, and considerate of all of my business skills and requirements. [REAG] exuded the confidence I needed from our first meeting, and never let up until the deal was successfully done.”
Brian Mullins, former owner of Kadee Industries
