On March 15, 2012 Scott D. Mashuda the managing director of REAG Group spoke to the attendees of the Western Pennsylvania Association of SBA-Guaranteed Lenders Quality Circle Conference in Seven Springs, PA. The conference was attended by over 150 government guaranteed lenders, SBA Administrators, Small Business Development Centers, and community development organizations.
Mr. Mashuda spoke about “Understanding Business Acquisitions and Valuations.” Specific topics of discussion included:
- How value is determined
- How to know the difference between a good deal and a bad deal
- When to spend your time reviewing a potential transaction; and
- How to quickly determine if a deal is of interest to your bank
